DOJ AND FBI, LOS ANGELES, STOP ANTI-GOVERNMENT GROUP’S NEW YEAR’S EVE BOMB PLOT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

SLING NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Inside Tina Lai’s Court Appearance Following (Southern California) Domestic Terrorism Arrest

In an exclusive statement to SLING NEWS, Ciaran McEvoy of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California reported, “Today in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Tina Lai was arraigned. She pleaded not guilty. Her trial is scheduled for February 12. She remains in federal custody. Her co-defendants will be arraigned later this month.” First Assistant United States Attorney Bill Essayli conveyed a message to Southern California, stating, “Through the collaborative efforts of federal and local law enforcement, a domestic terrorist attack was prevented from occurring this New Year’s Eve in Southern California. Far-left anti-government extremist groups intent on undermining the American way of life will not succeed and will always face the full force of the law.”

SLING NEWS (1/2/2026-Los Angeles) According to statements from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, spokesperson Ciaran McEvoy, and the FBI’s Los Angeles Division, four members of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF)—an anti-capitalist and anti-government organization—were arrested in the Mojave Desert for allegedly planning to bomb two U.S. companies with improvised explosive devices on New Year’s Eve 2025. The individuals are identified as Audrey Illeene Carroll, 30, also known as “Asiginaak,” of South Los Angeles; Zachary Aaron Page, 32, also known as “AK,” of Torrance; Dante Gaffield, 24, also known as “Nomad,” of South Los Angeles; and Tina Lai, 41, also known as “Kickwhere,” of Glendale. According to a U.S. Department of Justice press release, Attorney General Pamela Bondi detailed that the Turtle Island Liberation Front—a far-left, pro-Palestinian, anti-government, and anti-capitalist group—was preparing for multiple bombings across California beginning on New Year’s Eve, including planned attacks on ICE agents and vehicles. In a separate FBI Los Angeles Division press release, Assistant Director Akil Davis stated that the defendants allegedly intended to bomb American businesses on New Year’s Eve, but the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and its partners disrupted the plot before it could be executed. Davis emphasized that, while the extremist group encouraged supporters to prepare for action, law enforcement remained vigilant and ready to prevent their plans.
