Christian Values on the Ballot–But Who Represents Them?
With midterms upon us, the question arises: Do Christians shy away from political discourse? The answer is unequivocal–absolutely not. Christians are deeply engaged in the political process, representing a wide ideological spectrum from Republican to Independent to Democrat. In casting your vote, it is crucial to let your conscience–and not partisanship–be your guide. Yet, it must be acknowledged that neither President Trump nor President Biden genuinely reflects the core tenets of Christian values. The key takeaway: Be fully aware of the implications of your choice. Approach your vote with discernment, hold fast to your principles, and recognize the enduring impact of your voice.

Midterms 2026
What Matters Most to American Voters in 2026?

As Christians, we believe God owns all the riches of the world—the silver and the gold. Those riches do not make politicians our saviors. Nor does God’s sovereignty grant them exemption from accountability. Our faith calls us to pursue a future that is just for everyone, not merely comfortable for the well-connected. Prosperity that leaves struggling families behind is a poor reflection of justice. Choose your candidates wisely and carefully. Examine their records, their priorities, and whom their policies actually serve. A Bible in a campaign photo is not a character reference. Pray with faith. Vote with discernment. And stop mistaking promises for provision.

Christians or Not–Vote Your Conscience, Not Misinformation

When donors, campaign operatives, or public officials knowingly spread falsehoods, Christians should condemn such conduct without hesitation. Political victory cannot cleanse deliberate deception. Invoking God while bearing false witness does not sanctify a campaign; it profanes the faith it claims to defend. We must also distinguish between forceful criticism and manipulation. The key question is whether an accusation rests on verifiable facts and sound reasoning, or substitutes insults, fear, and personal smears for evidence. Evaluate candidates by their records, public conduct, policy positions, competence, and willingness to answer legitimate questions. Do not mistake a religious label for moral character, a polished performance for honesty, or a large campaign budget for credibility.
Christians who take prayer and Scripture seriously should be especially wary of pride, greed, cruelty, and deceit—including within their own political camp. Our responsibility is not to pronounce strangers damned or pretend we can see into their souls. Instead, our responsibility is to recognize wrongdoing when the evidence establishes it, name it plainly, and refuse to participate. No party owns the Gospel. No fortune places its owner beyond accountability. No Christian should excuse a lie simply because it serves a favored cause.

Islamic Militaristic Expansion Preceded the Crusades: A Historical Perspective

Historical records indicate that Islamic expansion, often involving military campaigns and instances of forced conversion, preceded the Christian Crusades by several centuries. According to historian Hugh Kennedy, the rapid spread of Islam in the 7th and 8th centuries involved the conquest of vast territories across the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Europe (Kennedy, 2007). Christian chroniclers of the medieval period frequently cited these expansions as a principal justification for launching the Crusades, framing them as defensive responses to earlier aggression (Riley-Smith, 1997).

Tech Giants? Hell No. Just Technocrats (With a Few Exceptions) Building the Road to Hell
Innovation deserves examination, not worship. When technocrats celebrate their latest ventures, we are entitled to ask: Who benefits? Who bears the costs? Does this work address genuine human needs, or does it primarily enlarge the wealth and influence of those already at the top? Hunger, poverty, and human suffering must not become mere background scenery for the rich’s self-congratulation.

Projection: 2026 Brazil Presidential Election
We Project That Flávio Bolsonaro Will Win Brazil’s Presidential Election

Future President Flavio Bolsonaro faces not only environmental challenges but also the criminal exploitation of the Amazon rainforest. The crisis is intertwined with the failure to regulate foreign companies—such as Alcoa US, Pittsburgh—enabling ongoing deforestation and resource extraction under the guise of economic development. Ultimately, the Amazon’s destruction is as much political and economic as it is environmental. The world stands powerless (?) as the Amazon rainforest is ravaged—not by accident but by our own relentless, monstrous appetites. Foreign lust for timber, beef, soy, minerals, oil, and grotesque infrastructure fuels this destruction. Only a force of godly proportions could halt this corporate feeding frenzy. If Brazil’s next President—Flavio Bolsonaro—truly wants to set an example, he must obliterate the machinery that allows global profiteers and financiers to transform the Amazon into a planetary crime scene.
