Ten Commandments

1-10
You shall have no other gods before me (There is only one God: With utmost respect to all faiths, this guideline underscores monotheism. Notably, commentary from other religious figures is outside the scope of this discussion)
You shall make no idols (As John the Baptist emphasized, avoid idolatry “brood of vipers”—prioritize your devotion to God above all else, including family and country)
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain (Show respect in all words and actions, both privately and publicly. Foul language, lack of self-control, and disorder—whether in your appearance, home, or life—are (notably) influenced by negative forces)
Keep the Sabbath Day holy (Honor this sacred (family) time with sincerity and respect)
Honor your father and mother (This principle reflects positively on your character and personal integrity, regardless of circumstances)
You shall not murder (This also extends to refraining from harboring ill will toward others, reflecting compassion and self-awareness)
You shall not commit adultery (Uphold integrity and respect in all relationships, even when the right path seems challenging)
You shall not steal (This applies to both tangible property and intangible ideas—respect the rights and creations of others)
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor–Do not lie (Uphold unwavering honesty, abstain from all forms of personal vengeance, and preserve your moral integrity. Retribution is the sole domain of God; do not diminish yourself by mirroring the actions of those who commit injustice. Place your full confidence in the certainty that ultimate justice rests with God, who is ever-watchful and permits nothing to go unseen. Extend forgiveness to your adversaries, yet understand that every wrongful deed incurs inevitable consequences, which may persist through generations. All transgressions are accounted for before God.
You shall not covet (Practice contentment and gratitude for what you have)

Scripture doesn’t mince words–these are the Seven Things God can’t stand—and there are real consequences for anyone who dares to mess with them:
Proverbs 6:16
Haughty eyes (Pride): That smug, holier-than-thou-attitude–thinking you’re above everyone else, even God.
A lying tongue: Spinning the truth, spreading lies, and weaponizing your words to get ahead or hurt others.
Hands that shed innocent blood: Causing harm or spilling blood when the target is defenseless.
A heart that cooks up wicked schemes: Plotting, scheming, and hatching trouble behind the scenes.
Feet that are quick to rush into evil: Always first in line for trouble, sprinting straight into what’s wrong without a second thought.
A false witness who pours out lies: Blatantly fabricating stories, little white lies, damned lies.
A person who stirs up conflict in the family/community: Stirring the pot, fanning the flames, and relishing the chaos you create among family, friends, or community.
