✓Awe toward the divine is often described as the birthplace of wisdom; after all, a person unbound by reverence (Those who do not fear God) is theoretically capable of anything—results may vary. If there’s no God, praying can’t hurt—think of it as a spiritual tune-up. But if there is a God and you opt out, well, good luck explaining yourself!

Did King David write Psalm 1?
Not quite. Psalm 1 doesn’t claim an author—consider it the enigmatic prelude setting the stage for the entire Psalter.
PSALM 1
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, not standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate night and day.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. His leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (No need to rush–divine time is everything. Even Moses and most prophets achieved (t-r-u-e) greatness at 80 y.o.).
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”
When reflecting on Scripture, seek wisdom and divine guidance—humans see the smile, but only the Divine perceives the heart (*Character*). The label ‘ungodly’ deserves scrutiny, as those who profess faith may harbor darkness, while so-called nonbelievers may possess hearts pure before God. In the Divine presence, appearances fade; only the heart’s true nature endures.
